Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about using Mobiliq, booking services, running a business account, and getting support.
Getting started
Learn what Mobiliq does and how to begin.
What is Mobiliq?
Mobiliq is a marketplace for finding and booking mobile service providers. Customers can explore available services, review provider information, and follow the provider’s booking process.
How do I create an account?
Choose Start Free or Create account and follow the registration steps. Keep your sign-in information private and use an email address you can access.
Is Mobiliq available in my area?
Availability depends on whether a published provider serves your location. Enter your ZIP code on Find Services to see the providers currently available in that area.
Do I need an account to browse services?
You can explore public service categories and available provider profiles without signing in. An account may be required to complete booking or manage appointment details.
Booking and appointments
Understand scheduling, confirmations, and provider communication.
How do I book a mobile service?
Choose Find Services, select a category, review an available provider, and follow the booking steps shown on that provider’s page. Review the service details and price before confirming.
What happens after I request an appointment?
The booking flow will show the applicable confirmation information. Watch for appointment updates from the provider and keep your account contact information current.
Can I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
You may cancel an eligible Mobiliq marketplace appointment from its appointment page. If a deposit was collected, Mobiliq refunds the full deposit to the original card, including cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows. Mobiliq does not retain a cancellation fee, release a provider payout, or assess marketplace commission or related tax on the canceled booking.
What if a provider is late or does not arrive?
Contact the provider using the information associated with your appointment. If you cannot resolve the issue or need help with the platform, send Mobiliq Support the appointment details without including passwords or payment-card information.
Can I contact a provider before booking?
Use the communication options shown on the provider’s public profile or booking flow, when available. Do not send payment details or account credentials through an unverified channel.
Pricing and payments
Know what to review before paying for a service.
Who determines service prices?
Providers publish their own available services and pricing. Review the provider’s service description, included work, and any applicable terms before booking.
Can the final price differ from the listed price?
A provider may identify additional work or conditions that were not part of the original service. Ask for a clear explanation and approve any material price change before additional work begins.
When will I be charged?
The booking or checkout flow should display the applicable payment timing before confirmation. If that information is unclear, contact the provider before completing the booking.
How do refunds work?
Refund eligibility can depend on whether a transaction was canceled before service or refunded after completion. For a canceled Mobiliq marketplace appointment, any collected deposit is refunded in full to the original card. Bank processing times control when the credit appears. Refunds requested after a completed service follow the completed-transaction review process and may require corresponding tax reversals.
Marketplace coupons
Understand the planned first-booking marketplace offer.
Are Mobiliq marketplace coupons active?
Not currently. The proposed first-booking coupon remains disabled until Mobiliq separately completes and reviews provider-subsidy funding and refund reconciliation. No campaign or code is publicly active.
How will the first-booking coupon work?
If the planned offer is activated in a future release, an eligible new marketplace customer could use one authorized code for $10 off a first Mobiliq marketplace booking with an approved service price of at least $50. Activation is not part of the current release.
Does a coupon reduce what the provider earns?
The planned offer is intended to be funded by Mobiliq rather than the provider, but it will remain unavailable until the required provider-subsidy payment lifecycle is implemented and independently reviewed.
What happens to a coupon after a refund?
The refund and subsidy-reversal rules will be published with the future activation release. No funded coupon or subsidy reversal is available under the current release.
Providers and service quality
Understand the roles of Mobiliq and independent providers.
How does marketplace participation and the marketplace fee work?
Marketplace participation is optional and defaults off. During provider onboarding, Mobiliq shows the current plan-specific fee: Marketplace 12%, Launch 9%, Growth 7%, Pro 5%, or Scale 3%. The fee applies only to completed bookings sourced through the Mobiliq Marketplace. Processing costs and applicable tax on Mobiliq's commission are separate, and provider-owned bookings have no marketplace fee.
How are provider tax forms handled?
Mobiliq intends to reconcile and file applicable Form 1099-K information for marketplace providers, with Stripe acting as filing and delivery agent where configured. Provider-attributable gross is reconciled by payment transaction date before refunds, commission, processing fees, or other adjustments, and includes applicable sales tax charged in the transaction. Sales tax remains outside provider payouts. Providers enter tax identity information only through Stripe-hosted onboarding; Mobiliq does not collect raw SSNs or EINs in its forms.
Are service providers employed by Mobiliq?
Providers use Mobiliq to publish and manage their services. Unless a specific page states otherwise, do not assume a provider or technician is a Mobiliq employee.
Does Mobiliq guarantee a provider’s work?
Service work is performed by the provider. Review the provider’s profile and terms, ask questions before booking, and contact the provider promptly if the completed service does not match what was agreed.
Who is responsible for licensing and insurance?
Requirements vary by service and location. Providers are responsible for understanding and meeting the requirements that apply to their work. Customers should ask a provider for relevant details when those qualifications matter to the service.
How do I report a provider or service concern?
Use the Privacy and safety support topic for fraud, safety, or serious conduct concerns. For ordinary service-quality questions, contact the provider first and preserve relevant appointment records and communications.
Business accounts
Set up and operate a service business on Mobiliq.
How can my business join Mobiliq?
Create a business account to begin onboarding. You can then complete your business profile and configure the services, team, and availability supported by your account.
What kinds of businesses can use Mobiliq?
Mobiliq is designed for businesses that deliver services at customer locations. Category availability and account features may change as the marketplace develops.
How do I add services and pricing?
Use the business dashboard to create the services you offer and provide clear descriptions and pricing. Only publish services your business is prepared and qualified to deliver.
Can I add technicians or team members?
Supported business accounts can manage team access from the dashboard. Give each person only the access they need and remove access promptly when someone leaves your organization.
Where can I find current plan or fee information?
Review the current Pricing page and the information presented during business onboarding. Contact Business support if your account’s pricing or billing information is unclear.
Business referrals
Understand the planned Give $25, Get $25 subscription-credit program.
Is the Mobiliq business referral program active?
Not yet. Mobiliq has installed the secured referral policy, owner referral center, and audit boundaries, but referral attribution and subscription-credit redemption remain controlled and default off until separate QA and Production activation. Your Referrals & Credits page always shows the authoritative current status.
How will Give $25, Get $25 work?
When the program is active, an eligible business owner can share their unique Mobiliq referral link. A new eligible business that signs up through the link and completes the paid-state qualification period will receive $25 in promotional subscription credit, and the referring business will receive $25 in promotional subscription credit.
When does a referral qualify?
The referred business must be new to a paid Mobiliq subscription, use the eligible referral link during account creation, pay its first subscription invoice, and keep that invoice successfully paid for 30 days. A pending, refunded, disputed, reversed, or otherwise ineligible payment does not qualify.
Can referral credit be withdrawn as cash?
No. Referral credit is promotional Mobiliq subscription credit. It is non-cash, non-transferable, and nonredeemable until Mobiliq separately enables the audited credit-redemption control. It does not represent money held for the business.
Are self-referrals, duplicate referrals, or stacked offers allowed?
No. A business cannot refer itself, a referred business can be attributed only once, existing paid subscribers are ineligible, and a referral offer cannot be combined with another introductory offer. Mobiliq may reject or reverse rewards connected to fraud, abuse, payment reversal, or eligibility drift.
Is there a referral reward limit?
Yes. A referring business may receive rewards for up to 12 qualified referrals in a rolling 12-month period. Recorded referrals that do not qualify do not create subscription credit.
Accounts, privacy, and support
Protect your account and reach the right support channel.
How do I reset my password?
Use the password-reset option on the sign-in page and follow the instructions sent to your account email. Mobiliq Support will never ask you to send your password or security code.
What information should I never send to support?
Never send passwords, one-time security codes, API keys, full payment-card numbers, or private authentication links. Share only the information needed to identify and explain the issue.
How do I report a privacy, security, or trust concern?
Open the Contact page and choose Privacy, security, and trust. Describe the issue clearly, but do not include credentials or unnecessary sensitive information. Mobiliq will follow up using the email address you provide.
What can the AI support assistant do?
The assistant can provide general platform guidance and help you find the right support path. It cannot access your account, change bookings, issue refunds, make decisions about a dispute, or perform actions on your behalf.
Still need help?
Use the support assistant for general guidance or send the Mobiliq team a secure support request.
